Get to know the truth about the Scriptures. A roadmap to New Testament Christianity.

How to prepare for eternity.

PREPARING FOR ETERNITY.

The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Corinthians emphatically told them every man will appear before the presence of God to give account of what he did in his body either good or bad, 11 Corinth 5:10, for simple reasons, God has not only set out a day to judge the world but has also made plans to save those who will want to live with Him in paradise. Its a five steps master design from a merciful and loving Father, who considered our weakness and sent His only begotten son to pay the price of our disobedience. This Five steps determines our fate when finally we are no more here, for it is appointed unto a man to die but once and after then Judgement follows Hebrew 9:27. Following this five steps will bring you to the gate of the Heaven and grant you admission into the Kingdom of His dear son Jesus Christ Acts 2: 47, where you will be taught, groomed on earth here for the Heavenly procession when the Son of God shall be revealed.

Step 1: You MUST Hear the word of God:
"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ"  (Romans 10:17, ESV)  "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.  (Matthew 7:24, ESV)1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also  you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast  that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.  3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our  sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again  the third day according to the Scriptures,1Corinth 15: 1-4

Step 2: You MUST Believe the Word:
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (Hebrews 11:6, ESV) Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.  (Mark 16:16, ESV) Not faith only: You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. (James 2:24, ESV) Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; (John 12:42, ESV) Such could not be saved.

Step 3: You MUST Repent of your sins
And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  (Acts 2:38, ESV) The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,  (Acts 17:30, ESV)  No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.  4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem?  5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."  (Luke 13:3-5, ESV)

Step 4: You must Confess the Word:
So everyone who acknowledge me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.  (Matthew 10: 32-33, ESV) And he said to them, "Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus.  36 And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?" 37 And Philip said, if thou belivest with all thy heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, l believed that Jesus Christ is the son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.  (Acts 8:35-38, ESV)

Step 5: You MUST Be Baptized:
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.  (Mark 16:16, ESV) 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.  27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  (Galatians 3:26-27, ESV) 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,  19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison,  20 because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.  21 Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,  22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.  (1 Peter 3:18-22, ESV)
God will add you to His Church. THE CHURCH OF CHRIST. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.  (Romans 16:16, ESV) 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."  (Matthew 16:18-19, ESV) Jesus Christ is the rock. and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.  (1 Corinthians 10:4, ESV)

Obey the gospel today, and God will add you to His Church. "praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."  (Acts 2:47, ESV)
May the good Lord open our eyes. Amen
